setup & usage

⚠ your gocardless api key

read-only — each user sets their own key, your direct debits are visible only to you.

from the gocardless dashboard, open developers then create access token

choose a read (read-only) token — oto neither cancels nor creates direct debits

paste it into your oto connector keys under gocardless

▸ follow sepa direct debits, failures and payouts

browse your direct debits, their timeline, failure reasons and grouped payouts for reconciliation.

gocardless_payments lists direct debits (filter by status, mandate, customer, date)

gocardless_failed gives you the enriched rejected direct debits in one call (customer, amount, cause, will_attempt_retry)

gocardless_failure_reason gives the reason for the latest failure of a specific payment (PM…)

gocardless_payment_party resolves payment → mandate → customer (email, company)

gocardless_payouts lists payouts received in the bank (status, currency, reference, dates), amounts in cents

gocardless_payout details a payout (PO…) line by line — paid-out payment, failure, fee — to match it against your invoices

⚙ multiple comptes

this connector accepts multiple comptes: each stored credential becomes a named account (one name per compte), at your level, your team's or your org's.

the first one doesn't need a name; from the second on, each one carries its own (the first then takes the name "principal", renamable)

without specification, the agent takes the only stored compte, otherwise the one marked as default; otherwise the call is refused, naming the available comptes — never a random choice

target a compte for a call: _account="<name>" on the tool; list them: oto_identity(op='list', connector='gocardless') (scope='org' or scope='group' for the org's or team's)

set the default: oto_identity(op='set', connector='gocardless', identity_id='<name>'); rename: op='rename' with new_name

⚠️ no tool walks through the comptes on its own: a total across several comptes is obtained by calling each one (_account) and adding up
